AFSE attendees may earn Continuing education units for qualifying sessions.

Sessions that apply are denoted in the conference listings with: CEU Credit

NFPA has been reviewed and approved as an authorized provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1620 I street, NW, Suite 615, Washington, DC 20006.

Continuing education units (CEUs) will be awarded for all education sessions, except those marked with an asterisk (*). Your registration badge will include a bar code that session  monitors will scan when you arrive at a session.

You will be awarded:

• 0.1 CEU for a one-hour session
• 0.15 CEUs for a 90-minute session
• 0.4 CEUs for a 4-hour session, etc.

Full participation in a session is required for CEU credit. 

An attendee will forfeit CEU credit if absent for more than 10 minutes from any session due to late arrival, early departure, or an unscheduled break.

Once the attendee information has been updated in the NFPA CEU Credit Management System, attendees will receive an e-mail notification.
